From April 15 to 17, the 24th Beijing International Heat Treatment Exhibition opened in grand style at Phase II of the China National Convention Center in Beijing. As the industry's premier annual event, this year's exhibition brought together nearly 300 leading enterprises from around the world, focusing on cutting-edge areas including high-end equipment, green and low-carbon solutions, intelligent heat treatment, and vacuum technology — creating an integrated platform for exchange across industry, academia, research, and application.
Jiangsu Fengdong Thermal Technology Co., Ltd. participated alongside its affiliated companies — Yancheng Neturen Co., Ltd., Jiangsu IHI-Fengdong Vacuum Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanghai PowerMax Heat Treatment Co., Ltd. — presenting a unified, multi-brand presence on the industry stage. Together, they offered a comprehensive showcase of the Group's core technologies and integrated solutions across controlled atmosphere heat treatment, induction heat treatment, vacuum heat treatment, and professional heat treatment processing services, drawing significant attention throughout the exhibition.

Speaking with Authority · Leading with Insight
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the company was invited to deliver keynote presentations at high-level industry forums, engaging with the sector through technical dialogue and forward-looking perspectives. Fengdong's professional voice conveyed the R&D capabilities and sense of responsibility of China's heat treatment enterprises, earning high praise from attending experts, clients, and peers alike.

Wei Xiaorong, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Fengdong Thermal Technology Co., Ltd., introduced metal surface nitriding treatment processes, highlighting their key advantages: minimal distortion, high hardness, no quenching required, and excellent corrosion resistance. The technology finds broad application across the automotive, tooling and die, stainless steel, and nuclear power sectors. Looking ahead, development will advance toward greener, smarter, more efficient, precise, and composite processes — positioning nitriding as a core technology for surface strengthening of precision metal components.

Zhou Yang, Marketing Director, presented the application of intelligent systems in the heat treatment industry, explaining how AI addresses longstanding industry pain points such as over-reliance on empirical knowledge, insufficient precision, slow process development, and high emissions. Through AI-driven process optimization, predictive maintenance, and carbon management, the technology enables quality enhancement, efficiency improvement, and emissions reduction. By 2026, AI coverage is set to extend across the full value chain, leading the industry toward intelligent, green, and high-end transformation.

Li Linhai, Head of the Business Division at Shanghai PowerMAx Heat Treatment Equipment Co., Ltd., introduced large-scale controlled atmosphere isothermal quenching equipment solutions. Designed to address industry challenges such as low throughput, high energy consumption, inconsistent product quality, and inadequate environmental compliance in conventional thermal processing, the solution supports the large-scale application and high-quality development of ADI (Austempered Ductile Iron) isothermal quenching in China.

Wei Xiaoqiang, Deputy Head of the Marketing Department at Yancheng Neturen Co., Ltd., delivered a comprehensive overview of a fully automated four-station induction quenching and tempering production line for piston rods — covering its overall layout, machine tool structure, and core advantages. The production line enables complete quenching and tempering of both the rod body and piston sections, and is characterized by high production cycle efficiency, convenient changeover between specifications, and consistent process repeatability. Currently deployed in volume production at multiple industry-leading enterprises, the line has demonstrated stable and reliable operation with strong market acceptance, setting a new benchmark in heat treatment for construction machinery.

Yao Jun, Marketing Director of Jiangsu IHI-Fengdong Vacuum Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the application of vacuum low-pressure carburizing technology in heat treatment for two critical components: linear guide rail sliders and RV reducer cycloidal gears. Leveraging the VCB series vacuum carburizing furnace and IHI Japan's patented acetylene low-pressure carburizing technology, the process achieves uniform carburizing, minimal distortion, and oxide-free surfaces, with all key performance indicators fully met. Compared to conventional atmosphere carburizing, it delivers superior precision at lower cost, and has been deployed in volume service for leading domestic automation component manufacturers.
