On October 12th, the "National Machinery Industry Transformation and Upgrading Promotion Conference" sponsored by China Federation of Machinery Industry, Fujian Machinery Industry Federation, Nan'an People's Government Association, and Nan 'an Equipment Manufacturing Association was held at the Fanhua Hotel in Nan 'an. More than 200 representatives from mechanical associations, societies, institutions, industry associates from provinces, districts and cities （federation）， running associations and holding group companies from all over the country, relevant enterprises, research institutes and relevant member units, relevant leaders and staff from the China Machinery Industry Federation attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Chen Bin and Yu Qingqing, Executive Vice President of China National Machinery Industry Federation.  Xin Guobin, vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and member of the Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. He introduced China's current industrial economic situation and the State and the policy of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to the real economy and equipment. He fully affirmed the achievements made by the machinery industry and China Machinery Industry Federation in its transformation and upgrading, and put forward hopes and suggestions for the next step.  

Deputy Minister Xin Guobin emphasized the need to fully implement the spirit of the directive of General Secretary Xi Jinping on revitalizing the manufacturing industry, follow the five development concepts of “innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing”， follow the strategic deployment of China Manufacturing 2025 to firmly build confidence in building a strong country, and focus on Promoting the strategic transformation of the machinery industry from quantitative expansion to quality improvement. We must adhere to innovation-driven development, lead the transformation and upgrading of the machinery industry, vigorously build a manufacturing innovation center, promote strong foundation projects, base ourselves on breakthroughs in a number of key technology and equipment, and actively expand the creative space; We must adhere to the coordinated development, point and surface systems promoting industrial progress, accelerate the integration of the machinery industry and the Internet, strengthen the coordinated development of the upstream and downstream industry chains, strengthen the synergy between the supply side and demand side, and promote the integration of military and civilian development; We must adhere to the green and low-carbon development and promote the integration of industrial civilization and ecological civilization Co-existence; We must adhere to open cooperation, improve China's international reputation for manufacturing; We must adhere to shared development and promote the results of reform and innovation benefiting the enterprises and people.

Wang Ruixiang, president of China Federation of Machinery Industry, made a theme report on the subject of "reform, innovation and quality upgrading, and unremitting efforts to realize the mechanical industry from big to strong." He fully affirmed the achievements made in the transformation and upgrading of the machinery industry in the past two years. The achievements were remarkable. First, the economy of the industry is developing steadily; Second, the ability to innovate in science and technology continues to enhance; Third, the optimization of industrial structure is progressing smoothly; Fourthly, the pace of going out is steadily accelerating; Fifth, the strength of the quality brand has increased substantially; There has been extensive consensus on the path of quality and efficiency.
