Leveraging the trend of the BRICS conference, taking the Xiamen Fair to discuss Dongfeng, sponsored by the China Heat Treatment Industry Association, and co-organized by Xiamen Yudian Automation Technology Co., Ltd., the 2017 national heat treatment industry manager meeting and service manufacturing summit forum on September 22-25 in Fujian Xiamen City was successfully held. More than 200 representatives from the national heat treatment and related industries attended the conference. The national heat treatment industry manager meeting is the annual event of the heat treatment industry and has become a platform for colleagues in the industry and related industries to establish contacts, exchange experiences, and reach cooperation. The theme of the conference is “Develop service-oriented manufacturing, promote the transformation and upgrading of heat treatment industry”。 It focuses on how the heat treatment industry can be transformed from production manufacturing to service-oriented manufacturing through innovation optimizing production organization, operation management method and business development mode, taking opportunities brought about by the technological revolution and industrial changes. Specially invited CMIF Expert Committee Director Cai Weici and Honorary Chairman of China Association of Heat Li Xinya, etc., made special guest lectures. Director Cai Weici took the theme of “Proactively responding to new challenges in the new situation” and made a high-level interpretation of the changing trends of the machinery industry and the orientation of “Made in China 2025”。 Prof. Li Xinya has already discussed “Made in China 2025” and “Thoughts on Technological Innovation in Machinery Industry”， and explained in detail the “Made in China 2025”。 Through the comparison of relevant policies and features of major manufacturing industries in major countries, China’s machinery industry innovation direction of development was clarified. Chairman of the China Heat Treatment Industry Association, Xiaohui Miao, has addressed the topic of “New Pattern of New Industry—Highly-Developed Heat Treatment in Strategic Emerging Industries” and combined with detailed research data of the heat treatment industry, emphasizing the strengthening of the application of new technologies, new equipment, to transform and upgrade the traditional heat treatment industry to be a new driving force for the development of the equipment manufacturing industry. Fengdong Chairman Xiang Jianhua from the perspective of the real economy, made a report entitled "The transformation of heat-treatment equipment manufacturing company from service-oriented manufacturing practice". The report detailed some specific practices, results and goals of Fengdong heat treatment service-based manufacturing transformation. It has set a realistic model for the transformation and upgrading of heat treatment companies. On the morning of the 24th, representatives from the plenary attended the National Tungsten Materials Engineering Technology Research Center. The National Engineering Center relied on Xiamen Tungsten Industry Co., Ltd. and was established in 2007. It is the only national-level industry technology research and development institution in China's tungsten industry, integrating the fundamental research, applied research, and transformation of results into one, It is a core R&D center for research and innovation, and an achievement transformation platform for the most advanced technologies in the field of new materials.
